Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a hands-on healing art that Physically-Influences the central nervous system; brain; spinal column, and the fluid that bathes it. Emotionally- Can provide the resources and space to explore our emotional landscape. It accesses a deep sense of Self within and a safe container for emotional issues to resolve. Spiritually- Can open doors to both our hearts and soul, profoundly changing our lives.

Instructor:Paula Rasmussen has 18 years of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy experience to which she has integrated Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness. Her workshops are creative, lively, and insightful.  Paula has a private practice in Santa Fe.  She specializes in trauma recovery, life transition, and detoxification.

The Craniosacral System is an interrelated system throughout the whole body that consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluidthat surround and protect the brain and spinal cord and includes the bones of the skull, face and mouth, which make up the cranium, through the vertebrae down to the sacrum and coccyx, or tailbone area.

Craniosacral work is personal contact with the dynamic stillness of being and our collaboration with the ‘Breath of Life’ to heal our body from the inside-out. The cerebro-spinal fluid  (CSF) relates to meditative rest and the central core of the unbound self. Characteristic qualities of CSF are effortlessness, stillness in activity, awareness, and flow through the spine, (head to tail) and from the spine outward to the periphery, sustained timelessness, and infinite spaciousness.
