This is a nearly 2 hour lecture and slide presentation by noted researcher and author Graham Hancock at the March 2018 Contact in the desert Conference held in Arizona. Here Graham Hancock focuses on a particular cataclysmic period from 12800 to 11600 years ago, now known as the Younger Dryas period and its effect on human civilizations around the world at that time. He chronicles the ground breaking scientific research about the event over the past 100 years and how it has been demonized by the mainstream establishment. He goes on to show that discoveries over about the last 20 years are forcing mainstream science to finally come to grips with the cataclysmic reality. He presents many details about this event’s impact on civilizations including the fall of Atlantis, Gobekli Tepe in modern Turkey, the indigenous peoples of the Americas as well as the subsequent rise of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
